How Do I Move My Vault Between Devices?

If you’re switching phones and want to bring your Vaulty content with you, the easiest and most reliable way is by using Vaulty’s Google Drive backup. It’s secure, automatic, and doesn’t require cables or manual file transfers, just make sure backup is turned on before switching devices.

✅ Option 1: Use Google Drive Backup (Recommended)

On Your Old Phone:

1. Open Vaulty
2. Tap the menu icon (≡) in the top left
3. Go to Settings > Online Backup
4. Make sure your Google Drive account is connected and the backup toggle is switched on
5. Tap the “Sync Now” button at the bottom to start uploading your files

On Your New Phone:

1. Install Vaulty from the Play Store
2. Sign in to your phone with the same Google account used on your old phone
3. Open Vaulty and go to Online Backup
4. Confirm it’s connected and tap “Sync Now” to start the restore

Your files will sync automatically from your Google Drive. Vaulty does not store your media or have access to your content, everything stays in your personal Google Drive.
